I knew about it, but just recently wanted to look it up a bit more.

I found this video and was shocked

So crazy how 2 heavily armored men with multiple automatic weapons against 300 officers could do so much damage.

What do you think about this?

If you lived in California, what were you doing when this took place ?
 
I did live in SO CAL at the time, but not near the shootout.

Try to get a copy of the movie "44 Minutes" as it is a great movie on this event. "44 Minutes" is the length of the actual shootout that exhausted the LAPD's ammo supply to where they had to send officers to B&B Ammo to get more ammo!
Amazing story.
