Having a first date with someone i met on Eharmony. advise?

so I'm having a first date with a guy I met on Eharmony this friday and i'm nervous as all hell. i don't have much dating experience so that makes this even harder. I'm really shy, which he knows, but i need help getting over it. any advise on how? we are just going to the movies so there won't me too much talking. Any adivse maybe from some people who have used a dating site to meet someone would alos be greatly appreciated. thanks to all who help!

1) Do not let him pick you up at home.

2) Do not tell him where you work (save that for a later date)

You may think you know this man but you really don't. Play it safe and if it works out that's wonderful. 9 men out of 10 will be a good guy but just in case....

I have never used any site like that. But I am shy as well. Just be yourself. He will be just as nervous too. I would also suggest going to a comedy. Laughter always helps out. I hope this helps.
