So I'm in the process of changing out some blown door speakers in my 2002 Jeep Liberty and have come across a bit of an issue.
When I pulled the old speaker out, it had the regular red/black connectors….no problem but then it had another cable that runs through the vehicle through this thing mounted to the stock speaker.
Now on the new speakers that I purchased there is no where for me to put this thing (it was held down by two screws on the stock speaker)
I've included a picture to show the device as well as the stock speaker with the mount piece thats on it (it won't come off) so now I'm just stuck how I'm supposed to put these new speakers in with this piece that has no space for it on the new speakers….
