I'm a newbie to music business, and I'm wondering if I don't have my music under a copyright (through lawyers), and I post that music on youtube, can i sue someone if somebody else uses my music and later produce it without my consent? The video recordiing will have a date on which it came available(on youtube), so I'm thinking that would be proof that I was the original creator of the song.
