My mother wants a new mobile phone for Xmas. It has to be a `slide` phone. Currently she has a Samsung that she has been using for 2 years or so. She is accustomed to Samsung mobile phones so I think it is best to stay with them.
I usually take out a contract and get a mobile phone that way and haven't bought a phone before to use on a network already being paid for. My mum is on a contract with O2. Am I able to simply buy a Samsung phone and use it on the current network?
Where is the best place to buy a mobile from? Does it need to be unlocked or can I simply buy a Pay-as-you-go phone?
