I want to buy a 2004 BMW 545i w/ SMG transmission. Would I have to change the clutch even though I'll use automatic mostly? Will the clutch wear out even when I don't use manual?? Need advice fast b4 I buy the car.
 
no you would not have to change it and no the smg will last as long as a normal auto trans.
