Help! I am a torrent noob!?

If possible, I would like to download Visual Novels for free. Problem is, I don't know how to torrent, and I can't find any Direct Dowloads in English. Help! Teach me how to torrent a file or something!

First.
Download a torrent client: BitTorrent works well.

Second.
Once installed find a website that enables you to search torrent files.

Third.
Once you find it, you click open and BitTorrent should pop up.
If not, click 'Open With' and find BitTorrent.

Be careful though, you can get into trouble with this.
I almost did recently for downloading movies.
