Firefox keeps freezing on me.
Whenever I go on a site that takes more than 3 seconds to load, it freezes and doesn't return to normal. I must end the program.
I cleared the cache, tried using firefox again, and it still freezes.
I tried going unto safe mode, disabling addons and the like. It still freezes.
I went to run, and typed in 'firefox.exe -p' annd created a new profile. I used it and it still freezes.
I went on mozilla.org and downloaded the new firefox, installed, and it still freezes
HELP ME PLEASE!!
help me in a way where I can keep my history and bookmarks. I'm using Chrome to type this question. And please don't tell me, 'Why not just use Chrome?' I like Firefox's addons (like gamefox).
Oh, I also have Uniblue Registry Booster. I clean the registry once a week. I also cleaned it to try to fix firefox. and it is STILL freezing.
I use AVG Pro. So it has resident sheild and all that. But there is one thing...I downloaded a trojan which AVG picked up, but I allowed it, then blocked it. Maybe that's the problem?
