I’m attempting to download a torrent using utorrent..
When I look at the info in the download part of the screen I get the following: Seeds – 8 (29); Peers 40 (54). From what I know of torrents it would appear that the full files are available. Download speed never sees to rise above 22 kB/s. However, I have tested another more popular torrent where Seeds info shows 38(456) Peers 10 (498) but when downloading on its own got an average download speed in excess of 820 kB/s
When I look at the availability at the bottom of the screen I see that it says 5.99 the question is this is that all that is available and is it really worth carrying on the download. When I look at the Seeds it says 5 out of 10 connected (29 in swarm); Peers 38 of 440 (300 in swarm), but the number of Seeds shown here change frequently.
I should add that this is a very large download and I do appreciate that there are few seeds.
