Help.. My iphone 3gs 3.1.3 wont sync with my itunes.. Need help ASAP.. Thx!?

I tried some tips from youtube but still NOT SYNCING.. help plssss..
Itunes and iphone is syncing in abt 3 seconds. Sync in progress appears and then suddenly stops as if it is finish but everytime i check my phone everything is the same.. No syncing took place.
