Help my iphone keeps locking!!!!!!!?

help!! theres like dirt or something in the lock key of my iphone so the button get stuck down and it keeps locking and turning off!!! does anyone know how to get the dirt out or unjam it o i dont have to get a new one!!!!!!!
thanks but it is an iphone 3g and ive only had it since september im restoring it right now and im gonna see if that works if not ill probablly hit the top on the table or something cause i have no idea whats wrong with it
 
No I would suggest you throw that one away and get a iPhone 3G. JK no not really, id say hitting the top to a table or something to try to get it unjammed. Or you can just sell it on craigslist, and get a new one.
