Hey I making smoke bombs from KNO3 and sugar. I am just wondering when you heat the sugar and KNO3 in a pan can't you just heat the sugar till it caremalizes then add the KNO3 after? Will this affect the smoke bomb? Or do I actually have yo cook the KNO3 with the sugar? :S
