Help! Pokemon White 2 on UK DSi problem!?

I am currently living in Japan and have bought Pokemon White 2 for the DSi, but my DSi is a UK one...
I wasn't aware until now that DSi's are locked from playing Japanese games! Is there a way around the region lock, or do I HAVE to buy a Japanese DSi/sell the game and wait for the UK version?

Any help with this matter is greatly appreciated!

i live in japan as well but i am Japanese and have a Japanese 3ds but from what i saw people can play it on any ds or dslite so if you have that you can play the game
