help with torrents,Divx and avi?

Hi I dont know what has gone wrong but my Divx player will not play avi files now, it was doing b4 I down loaded winavi converter! I dont know what I have done I could down load any avi film and it would work on divx and my media player which i plug into the tele after i have down loaded. can anyone help it is really bugging me nothing will work on Divx now. thanks in advance. and i am new to all this stuff so detail would be great
 
get format factory, search google type in formatfactory, and then get it, then convert it to avi again, it should work. If not, yu should notify me at [email protected] (i no, really wierd email adress). Im not an expert, but I have had problems like this that i fixed.
