1. Why does a stick partially immersed in water appears bent from the air?

2. Why does a coin at the bottom of the pool appears to be nearer than it actually is?

3. Why does a pair of pants appears blue under blue light but black under black light?

Question 1 - Because the light is entering a denser atmosphere and will refract.
Question 2 - Same as above.
Question 3 - Because as you know white light is made up of the 7 colours of the spectrum, The blue light will be reflected by the blue pants and absorbed by all the others so it will appear blue to us, in black light, no light will be reflected so they appear black.
