license......? he has checked himself into the mental hospital should i call the courthouse to tell them that he is in the hospital or should his doctor at the hospital do it??? help please!!!!!!!!!!
he is manic depressive bi-polar and he suffers from generlized anxiety disorder he also has skitzoeffective disorder he has been in the mental hospital on and off for the past 10 years.
 
Have your fathers doctor write a letter and hand deliver it to the court.!!
 
While it's admirable for you to want to help out your dad,he is responsible for his actions.He should have an attorney representing him in court,not you or his doctor.
I'm a little curious as to whether your dad would have checked into a mental hospital if he didn't have a court date upcoming.Is he facing jail time and would rather hope for leniency from the courts because he is now somehow mentally incapacitated?
The court would rather hear from one of their own who know the system than they would from you as to why your dad isn't in court.
