I have got a problem. I have 1994 Nissan Cefiro. Now the steering wheel is shaking very roughly, as well in low at low as at high speeds. Also the car is slightly pulling to the left when accelerating and braking. And when I move the steering wheel all the way right or left and drive you hear a knocking sound.

Now it can`t be the Wheels, cause I already got new rims and tires and they are definitely balanced.

My mechanic thinks it might be the right wheel hub. I think that maybe explaining the pulling to the left, but not the shaking steering wheel and the knocking sound.

Any answers would be helpful, because I bought the car one month ago and it`s driving me crazy, cause I let it stand in the parking lot and drive my old car, cause it kinda freaks me out

Any help is much appreciated!

I think you might have a bad rack and pinion assembly. The inner tie rod ends can wear out and cause a car to pull to one side when braking or accelerating. The knocking could be from either the tie rod ends or inside the rack and pinion.
