Hi there, Netgear Wireless Internet?

I have a desktop computer in my back room with a Netgear USB Adapter (WG111t) installed, two rooms down is my bedroom which has the Netgear router in it (WGR614 v7). My internet works but always has either low or very low Signal. My question is, can i just buy a better usb adapter that will increase the signal, or do i have to buy a new router and if so which one.

I also have a Wireless netgear device, and the connection is always very good or excellent, as the port is only a room away. I suggest you buy a longer adaptor to make the device go closer to the source to have a better connection. Netgear is quite good though.
