Hiking the Point Dume trail?

Hi, I wanted to hike the Point Dume trail and can anyone give me some info and tips on it? I've read that it's about a 2 mile hike that's fairly easy, but where does the trailhead start at? Is it a very easy to follow linear path, or does it fork off a lot? And how much is the entrance fee into Point Dume? Any other info is greatly appreciated, thanks!!
