Here's a small sampling of Hollywood remakes. Have you seen both versions of these films? What's your opinion of each?
Insomnia- A 1997 film with Stellan Skarsgard remade in 2002 with Al Pacino and Robin Williams
The Vanishing- A 1988 film remade in 1993. The US version had a completely different ending, though
The Ring- A 1998 movie remade in 2002
La Femme Nikita- A 1991 film remade in 1993 and retitled Point of No Return
BQ- What's your opinion of remakes?
