people "after" the show? Okay, I just watched "Home Makeover". The episode with the black couple who are marriage counselors with 3 little girls. And then sent them all to Paris. That episode. I don't know if the show has changed recently but it seems "way" over the top lately. They built this people what looked like(to me anyway) a home worth about a million dollars. This is family who couldn't afford to fix anything on their old home, right? Thats why they got picked for this show. My question is, now that all the happy tears have been shed on the show, how long before the sad tears start raining down. How are they gonna pay for the taxes and insurance on this million dollar home? How are they going to pay the astronomical heating/cooling bills on a house with so much square footage? Why do they call the show home "makeover" if they are just going to completely demolish the old one and build a brand new in its place. Its not even the same floor plan to my knowledge. If it actually "did" cost a million to build the home, what is the value of it "after" its built in a crappy neighborhood where all the houses around it are falling apart and none of which probably exceed $100k and thats probably being very nice. These people are being setup to fail unless theres something else going on I don't know about.
