i have a nice neon that has some work done to the body but i don't like the motor it has and i don't want to swap in a DOHC r/t motor in it. i'm wondering if i cant fit a B series honda motor in there. any mechanics out there think its possible w/o major custom fabrication work? for those who are going to Bitch about how i should throw my neon away or it should of died along time ago save your breath you band wagon hoppers,, driving what everyone and their grandma drives because you want to fit it.

Custom motor mounts, crossmember, transmission, shift linkage, and a complete custom wiring harness is just the start.

Good luck.

Not without "major" custom fab work, as you put it.

You would need custom motor mounts, custom half-shafts and probably some firewall modifications. Not to mention the extensive wiring you would need to do to link up the proper ECU for a B series engine.
