At present have a Panasonic Viera digi TV, DVD player and separate VHS recorder.
Wish to hook up a Panasonic Viera digi DVD recorder too (quite possibly omit the old DVD player!). Being both Viera Link using the one remote should be possible. Have also purchased a new set of high speed HDMI leads for TV to DVD recorder.
Can anyone provide a link to a suitable hook up description?
When I move I usually make up my own drawing to recall the hook up.
I wish to retain use of the VHS recorder so I can also record my old VHS tapes onto DVDs or even play some old VHS sometimes. I am usually quite adept at linking everything up but I must admit am starting to get a little confused at this stage, at the input/output stage of the VHS recorder/player to the TV (or is it to the DVD Recorder?). I was told the aerial should hook up into the DVD recorder (AV Out?) and not the TV - Would it be easier if I used a splitter and both ran unanimously? I am certain there are possibly several ways to do this, but what would be best for us. Thank you!
Ps. Or do you think I should be lazy and pay someone ($80) to hook it all up for me?
