how a cooking pan can be entirely made of glass without over heating the handle?

there are glass pans.
and they seem to work okay.
the handles don't get to hot.
i generally use 'em for Campbells soup, which doesn't cook all that long.
however, glass is not a particularly good conductor of heat, so heat loss from the handle will be closer to the heat gain than would aluminum, for instance.
