I have a 2007 Chevy van with a large, stock stereo. It has no line in, and FM transmitters suck, so I need a way to add a line-in to it so I can play audio from an iPhone and hopefully an iPad in the near future. I'm sure it involves getting into the back of the unit to add a line with such a jack, but that's really all I know. I have no expertise with electronics at all. If there were a way to make FM transmitters not suck and reliably transmit reasonable quality audio to the stereo without fritzing out and making me change the station all the time, that would be good, too.
