Okay, so here's the deal. My parents got me a DSi for Christmas (I checked the Amazon list so I know), and I asked for a 3DS (which comes out early next year, so all I want really is for them to get me something else completely). I love them, and I know it's the thought that counts, but still, I'm extremely put out by the mistake. I've been hinting that it was the 3DS, but it seems like they're oblivious. I'm not even sure if they know about it. I just don't want to get a DSi and then make it nigh impossible to get a 3DS later next year (because I don't really have the money and I was kind of hoping they'd help me...but I'm not sure they will if I have a DSi)--and I'm sure DS games will get halted next year for 3DS games so it will pretty much be useless...UGH! This is just a bad situation. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to handle this??
Look into it yourself. They will stop manufacturing it most likely, which is why I'm so distressed.
PS, I already had a Nintendo DS from 2004, so I really don't need a new version of one. (the 3ds is considered the next gen of DS and does not count as a version)
