How can I find out a cruise ship's Swedish-Finnish Ice Class rating?

In light of the recent ship sinking in Antarctica, it would be nice to know if a cruise ship was classed:

1A SUPER Service in extreme ice-conditions. Must be able to maintain a speed of 5 knots in a channel with 1.0 m thick ice and a 0.1 m frozen top layer.

1A Service in difficult ice-conditions. 5 knots in a channel with 1.0 m thick ice.

1B Service in moderately difficult ice-conditions. 5 knots in a channel with 0.8 m thick ice.

1C Service in easy ice-conditions. 5 knots in a channel with 0.6 m thick ice.

I can't seem to find a site that provided this info, and the cruise lines don't post it on their web sites.

In that case send an e-mail inquiring for the information, in light of the accident. Also look for a "class" rating - I was able to find the rating for one ship at http://www.scantours.com/polar_star.htm - but could not for other vessels. Sometimes the rating is deeply embedded in the website, and you need to go around looking for it. Thus my best suggestion is to e-mail the company and ask!
