How can i get internet FROM my blue ray player?

I have a Vizio Blue-Ray player that has internet capabilities and I have it connected to the internet via a Wireless connection that is built into the player. I also have a dish network HD DVR (VIP622) that is able to connect to the internet via a ethernet cable, to manage recorded items. I was wondering in any way could i tether off the internet connection from the Blu-Ray player and have it go into my DVR? The reason I ask this is because i don't want to buy a $60 wifi receiver.
Thank-you for your time.

In effect, if I understand correctly, you want to use the wireless card on your BD player as an access point for your Dish PVR. No, you can't do that. The BD player was never designed as a switch or even a router. Instead of using wireless, you could use powerline. About the same price, but I think you will get a far more reliable connection for streaming video.

The Blu-Ray player can only receive Wi-Fi (wireless internet) from your wireless router or through a ethernet cable. It does not get the internet but only receive the internet signals from your home network so that your apps on your Blu-Ray will work. The Blu-Ray player does not have a internet browser so you will not be able to access any website. Rather it is used to use the apps like Netflix, pandora etc.
