...happening this month? I was thinking of suggesting the church put on a big spread; you know, an all-you-can-eat function where the public is invited. My idea for the promotional posters is to depict the rainbow God put in the sky over the ark, with the Village People on the deck performing, "In The Navy."

Well, homosexuality and God's will conflict so that is a pretty odd situation you have got yourself there (unless you are trying to get them to accept Jesus of course)

how is the Village People respectfully depicting gays? It just makes it worse for their cause.
and I doubt you're serious about this question.

Ask them to point out the passage in the New Testament where Jesus condemns homosexuality.

Noah's ark isn't the best story to promote gay pride, what with its pairing off of animals one male and one female.

Go with a more generic "love is love" - type message.

well i'm a really strong christian and i don't judge people for being gay.
but all i have to say is focus on how you love people and don't force your church to respect gay pride.

Rat out your minister as gay and then invite everyone to the gay pride celebrations!

If you can, your church does not represent God. The Church of God does not support homosexuality.

If it's a typical straight laced church, no chance; if it's a more liberal church, maybe, the only way to find out is to speak to the pastor.
