how can i get rid of these spyware alerts that keep popping up?!?

every second these popups come up saying :

SPYWARE PROTECT 2009 ALERT
your computer is being attacked by an internet virus...etc.
do you want to block this attack ?

and i always click no and it pops up again
 
Reinstall your operating systems. That may help
avast I used it some time a go when XP was at it's best.
XP is outdated now but frankly its a good little OS.
To day I use the Ubuntu. The security is the best I will say that. I have no problem with spyware or virus.
And I will always thank Linux for a good job.
