How can I input Mp3 player music into my stereo (it doesn't have a radio)?

I was thinkinf it would be nice to find a input/TRS adapter or converter. does something like that exist?

I have a stereo and i want to input sound from my Mp3 player. I was thinking a audio input cable would be best, but then I need a way to convert from the head phone jack that the Mp3 player has.

Any body have an idea? or is there an easier way to get music from a Mp3 player into the stereo?

if you have a tape deck you can buy a tape deck adapter. about 10 dollars CAD.
