How can I know if my 1995 BMW 525i has ASC or ASC+T?

I just bought a used 1995 BMW 525i and took it out in the snow today to see if I could get it to slip and slide and make a traction control system react. I am not sure if one reacted but want to ask other BMW owners out there if when their traction control activates, does it make a yellow light pop up on your dashboard?

I have driven a 1999 Mercedes CLK430 and when the traction control activated, a yellow light with an exclamation mark showed up. Can someone tell me what I am supposed to look for to see if I have some sort of traction control on my car? Thanks!
 
The first thing to do is check your owners manual. Otherwise, you can write the VIN number down, call BMW, talk to the parts department, and they can take that number and tell you anything you need to know. Recalls, details on parts, whatever you need.
