My iphone is awaiting activation by a supported Sim-card, but I don't have it. My friend has it, and he's in another country, with the sim and his new iphone. This one was a present by him.
I'd like to know if there's a program or another way to tell what ios this iphone currently is in?
There are programs which can bypass this action but I need to know my firmware for that.
It's an iphone 3G.

Jazzy - I've searched and found, the problem is my iOS! I need to know what firmware it's on to hacktivate it. I downloaded limera1n, which supports 4.1 ONLY and I don't want my iphone to be messed up...
Darrell - itunes won't connect to the iphone since it's awaiting activation.
