How can i learn to sing all by myself,only a mp3 player and nothing else?

ok,so i dont kno how to play the piano......or kno anything abot music,,,but i HAVE GOT to learn how to sing.........i sing along to songs on my player,try to get better,is there anything else i can do?

btw i only want to be a mediocre singer cuz i kno i cant be more than it cuz i got nno tym n a teacher and all.......n m a girl,thanks!
 
well to make the best of ur voice, u shood try to avoid drinking soda, get a lot of rest, and practice a lot just for starters. u can look up singing dos and donts cuz those will help u a tiny bit (: then u just need to work on singing. do a warmup song b4 u sing, nothing with intense vocals, in an open room (i practice in my garage since its huge lol). for some reason i CANNOT sing very well when im in a tiny space, i just cant do it but idk bout u. anyways just practice practice practice and have people giv u their opinion so u can c wat u need to work on!! good luck!
 
just sing, in your spare time sing sing sing.
practice makes perfect remember! you'll get better with time.
try vocal exercises. google some or youtube them or something. and make sure you breathe properly too. that's a big part of singing.
