How can I send music from my laptop to my Motorola Dext via USB?

I've recently purchased a new phone, the Motorola Dext. I've set up everything and got to grips with the phone and I'm now trying to transfer music and other files from my Laptop onto my phone via the USB cord provided. I've tried moving the chosen music file(s) into Removable Disk (E:) which is the phone, but it wont let me open the removable disk for me to drop my music in. Please someone help.

PS. There was no software disk provided.
 
you need to get the software from motorola or your network provider
