how can I sync my sony bluetooth handsfree hbh-pv770 with my ps3?

I have a 160gb ps3 that is about a month old. I bought it to replace my old 80gb ps3 from way back when it came out and I did a data transfer, but my bluetooth info didnt transfer too. My keyboard transfered, but the hbh-pv770 didnt. I dont have the instructions anymore, It took forever to find the model of the headset on google. The thing only has like 2 buttons and I have no idea what they do.
When I hold down the power button, it goes solid, then starts blinking, no matter how long I hold it down. I dont know if its still looking for my old ps3 and needs to be reset or what
 
PS3 Menu > Settings > Accessory Settings > Manage Bluetooth Devices > Register New Device

Now, i dont have knowledge of your headset, but all work roughly he same, hold the on button on the headset til it stays a solid colour (this puts it in pair mode) now its time to click "Start Scanning"

et voila.
