How can the peace of Christ rule in ones heart in the shadow of a world filled

with social ills? “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”- Colossians 3:15
 
Becauz our spirit is seperate from our body. And Christ is talking about the peace of our spiritual heart (our soal)
 
It's called spiritual life. The Holy Spirit is everywhere present and fills all things. Are you saying we should all be in turmoil because there are problems in the world. Christ says, "In the world there will be tribulations, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world." We can be at peace because we know God knows what he is doing. I live in deep peace, spiritually. As for social ills, I do what I can as one person, or as a member of various groups. For the rest, I pray to God about it, and leave it in His hands. Perhaps He knows some people need ills and misfortunes to have the opportunity to turn to Him....God knows the slightest inkling of every heart. He knows what every person needs to have the best opportunity for the best spiritual outcome for eternity. He will never force anyone's choice, but He knows what each of us need to consider better choices. And because He loves us, and wants what is best for us, He keeps trying to send us what we need to come to Him.
 
Can you order or make peace in other countries, the answer is no for you are not God. You are to feel peace with what you can do and help who you can.
 
The answer is....not to let the world's evils influence your faith. As it says in Corinthians, you are part of the body of Christ...you are IN this world, but not OF this world. We are pilgrims of this world, to live out the life of Christ the best we can and then after death we will pass on to our true home in heaven. Do not let your heart be downtrodden by the evil things you see, but be glad and thankful to be given opportunities to show Christ's love, to help others in their times of trial, and to be that light shining forth.
Let your life be a living sacrifice, using Jesus as your example.

How can it not!!
These are scary times and the peace of Christ is the only true solace available.
I don't know how anyone can face this world without it!

Turning it over to the Lord is the only solution.

The peace of the Lord tells us that this is part of His plan and that He has everything under control. Everything looks chaotic to us, but to Him it's all where it's supposed to be.

If you are truly "born again" and obedient to the Word, you will experience the "shalom/peace" of Yeshua. Many people have the "peace in Yeshua" but a rare few have the "peace of Yeshua". Those of us who truly Believe and follow His world are not of this world. We are aliens here. We are like visitors here, waiting at a bus stop for Yah to take us home. You can shine your light for others in this world (Egypt) and hopefully they too will want to Exodus to Yah's Kingdom. After they Exodus they will go through the wilderness until they find the truth and are blessed by the Holy One Of Israel.
