How Can You Decode Or Unblock A Dvd?

My Sweet 15 video is in a dvd but the lady that made it apparently set a lock on it so it could not be copied, my mother wants to make copies to give to my grandparents, how can we take that lock code?

U have to use a program to strip the audio and video out, such as Nero 7. Then once u have it stripped you can burn the data onto a dvd-r disc as many times as u want :)
