How can you tell a guy is interested or just friendly?

i haven't talked to him.. but we make eye contact quite a bit but we'll look at each other for a couple seconds and the he will look away. we go skating every saturday when i get on the skating floor he does as well. and he always gets close to me while skating. he gets in the middle of the rink, he knows im looking and he'll show off. My friend also talked to him telling him that i liked him.. Then another friend talked to him the next saturday telling him once again that i like him, he just smiled and said, i know. and my friend gave me his number i texted him once saying hey(: but he didnt answer.. help!
 
well sounds to me he is a little shy
and doesnt know how to tell you
he likes you. give it time
he flirts with you but not in the way
you would know for sure if he likes you or not.
but when you make eye contact thats a sign
and if he didnt txt you back he prolly didnt know who
you were. try to talk to him just as friends and see how that
goes then take it to the next level(:

just go straight to him and say:
"so, r u planning to ask me out or should i start accepting other dates?"

be straight and confident =D

i think he likes u, but as he knows that u liked him, he is playing hard to get and cool.
