How close are we today for having holograms just as in the sci-fi movies?

When do you think we will finally have those holographic televisions, and having the other displays switched from the displays we know today onto holograms (like having an image or a video being showed in "mid-air")?
 
Before 2025 or so.

They already have holograms that show things in mid air. But they are experimental and nothing like on star trek. I cant really answer this question, its probably not going to happen in my lifetime and im only 23
