How come Abraham Lincoln's birthday is not a national holiday, and yet Martin Luther

King's is? Abraham Lincoln was the greatest president we have ever had. This doesn't make sense to me......People like Martin Luther King would never have their freedom if it weren't for Abraham Lincoln....
 
Until several years ago, Lincoln's birthday and Washington's birthday were both national holidays. To honor MLK, Lincoln and Washington's bdays were combined into President's Day. Eventually it will be known as Obama Day.
 
MLK 's holiday replaced Lincolns holiday, thats the power of the NAACP.
They whine louder than anyoneelse.
