Last year, my power supply went out. I decided not to do anything at the time, and decided to sell my hard drive. I just recently needed my computer for something and bought a new power supply and hard drive. When i hooked everything up, the fans came on and it sounded good when it came to life again. The fan was spinning as fast as it could and i was not getting a boot screen or anything. No video out to the monitor and no bios. I tried the new power on a different computer and it works fine, the board lights come on and everything. No lights come on, on my board and i have no lights at all, on the board or otherwise. It's been sitting for a year with no power. How did my board die? Should I get ahold of the place i bought it from and have them pay for a new board and replace the power? Or did it fry when my old one went out?
