I don't know when the current conspiracy theory began. I don't even think it matters much. This kind of thinking is not new, not original and it is not wrong. The creation of a new world order has been attempted multiple times over the centuries. The means by which has varied only slightly each time. The farther you go back into history, the easier it is to recognize the methods used. The methods of the distant past were mostly to conquer people and pillage their property. In the more recent past it changed a little by including attempts to convert the belief systems of large cultures. The pillaging that is going on now is very evident, but it couldn't have happened, without first conquering the people. We the people, have allowed ourselves to be conquered and our property stolen by those who would take everything of value from every citizen of the world if they could. I'd say "off with their heads", instead of giving them billions more to carve up and skim from.
