I need to sync my iphone. when i plugged phone into laptop as usual i tines popped up. but this time it said a new version of is available. i would like to update and sync phone. Problem is my wife did this about a month ago and the process errased all her contacts info. I need all of my contact. how can I back up all saved info in my iphone so that if similar event happens i can reinstall my contact info, or return to a previous state. like save and return/restore to an earlier restore point prior to update? what is the process, what are the links to select, where are they located in itunes. Thnx to yall for your help. Its iphone 3G (before 3Gs)
