Me and my friend want to craft a row boat out of plywood, but we have never done it before.
is there any site that will teach us how? i need to know what equipment we need, how thick the wood needs to be and how to build the bottom part of the boat that goes into the water, so it doesn't sink.

In between a slab sided scow and a sculptured molded laid up veneer boat is the row boat with a flat bottom, a pointed bow and flat stern and curved angled sides that makes a pretty good boat. Because of the curved sides of the bottom and fitting the sides to them, a full sized plan has to be laid out and thus the size must be considered first. Half inch marine plywood is more than enough for almost any reasonable boat but in most cases, an interior chine (wooden strip) is installed along the bottom for strength of screwing and along the top for handling. Most boats are reinforced with fiberglass these days if not covered all over.
