how do i burn a dvd 1080 hd video using live movie maker windows?

i go to save movie and click on 1080 dislpay but it makes a file how do i burn it to dvd? using the 1080 hd??? wen i go straight to burn a dvd? the ratio its 720x480 please help im using the lates windows movie live maker and using my iphone hd cam looks beutiful on computer but wen i burn it to disk not really help thanks
 
First export it in 1080p to your Desktop or some other kind of folder. Then use Windows DVD Maker to burn it to a disk
