How do i convince my parents to get me a puppie?

Sorry im asking this again but some people misunderstood me when i said that someone handed my old puppie into the pound cuz they thought it was a stray i meant that my mother let some neighborhood kids take it to there mom to show her my pup (shasha) she thought they found her becuase they said they did and it wasnt a cheap dog either so when we looked for her somone already adopted her. And who says i HAVE to give my dog to my rents for college we never know what the future holds. And also again im 13 we had a dog for10 years (she was 3 when we found her) and she died last year and im the one who had cared the most for her rip rocket
