I'll use my situation as an example:
I have original Michael Jackson DVDs and want to be able to make a video with various clips from those DVDs (with Windows Movie Maker). I've noticed that WMM doesn't/can't import movie files from the DVD but it can from a VCD. I know that it might be illegal depending on which country/state you're in (or everywhere, i dunno), but I don't intend to sell it or anything, just for my personal viewing pleasure.
So is there a way to copy those files onto a VCD or another DVD and have WMM be able to import it? or is there another way for me to do what I wanna do?
