How do i copy my burned dvd to a computer?

I just want to transfer the material on my burned dvd to my computer

How do i do this?

I put the dvd in my computer and then clicked on file....I tried to click on convert....save but nothing happend. I also tried to do it this way before but the picture quality was so aweful on my computer it wasn't worth it.

How do you transfer a created dvd that has multiple chapters in the dvd and get good quality video?
Would Roxio Creator be ok to do this??? I am not buying another program! I cant afford too.

I need a step by step process please! Thanks
 
Well, a Burned DVD if its done the right way, should be the same as the original DVD, so if you want to keep it on your computer to watch it I recommend you to RIP it, like MagicDVD Ripper or something like that.... If you just want to save an Image to burn it back on a empty dvd on the future, I recomend, CloneCD..... Thats all depends on what is your goal.
