how do i delete ares torrent off my lap top.?

a friend of mine downloaded on my Lap top for me a couple weeks ago and now I really dont want it anymore. I went under control panel and uninstalled the program and installer but it still shows up on my tab on the bottom of my desktop,someone please help me

If you right click on a blank area on the toolbar at the bottom of your screen and go to The toolbars section you should be able to find it there.
